NARS Isolde Eye Duo in Action - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Note to cocky: article of clothing NARS Isolde more frequently. This post from 2022 kind of blows my listen, because I tin't believe I actually had 25 minutes to put on makeup! I still love Isolde now as much every bit I did then.
I wasn't playing the other day when I said I've been all about NARS Isolde lately. Both it and NARS Cordura (LOVE YOU, C!!!) have been two of my full-time center makeup BFFs for weeks, and fifty-fifty though I've mostly gotten over this cold of mine and want to wear more than makeup once more, I still don't have the patience to sit down still for 45 minutes and blend half dozen dissimilar teals till my fingers autumn off, ya know?
This week I've been using the timer on my iPhone in the morning to rein myself in. I set it for 25 minutes, and whatever I'm able to do in that time, that'south what I end up wearing for the day.
Earlier I fifty-fifty showtime, though, I keep all the basics, like foundation, mascara and concealer, etc., in a petty box adjacent to my desk so I don't waste whatever time hunting stuff down. So I also put whatever centre and lip products I plan to wear in the same box.
I similar to spend the lion'south share of the 25 minutes on my eye makeup, then I'll cut back on some things and spend less time on my pare, which is why more of my freckles are peeking through in these pics than usual.
Hither'southward the look I wore with Isolde yesterday to the salon (I finally got my hair washed, YAY!), because there was no way I was going to sit in that location staring at myself in the mirror all that time without there being a little something-something on my mug, LOL!
In that location's a full breakup of the products below, simply basically, I just mixed Isolde'south lighter peachy golden side with the copper side, then put that on my lids. And so I added 2 warm browns in the crease — first a lighter brown, then a darker shade for more depth. So I added some black liner and lots of lashes, before finishing with neutral peachy pink cheeks and lips.
Non equally exciting as a shimmering emerald dark-green await with false lashes and the whole kit and caboodle (bronzer, highlighter, etc.), for sure, merely yous know what? Sometimes I actually love wearing this kind of makeup (more often than not). You can't go wrong with everyday neutrals.
